Remember

I clicked on Create with Connie and Mary and used their color inspiration for this card. I love Peach Parfait and Calypso Coral together and they are perfect for the soft sponging effect here. My quartz technique used here on the curved border also brings a bit of life to the card, like that of the movement in water, to an otherwise somber card. Enjoy!

Gorgeous card, Donna! Good to see you using that quartz technique - love it! And gosh, that border is beautiful - have been seeing it around blogland...is it a Stampin'Up? Hope you are well...

What a striking choice of colors! So classy. And the quartz border is wonderful. That border reminds me a little of the pretty wood I have on a jewelry box I bought in Switzerland.

Really lovely! You got the shading just right on your sponging. I like what you did with the edgelits...I have seen people put the bracket shape at the bottom, but not at the top. It looks GREAT that way! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge this week!
