AUTUMN BUST and EMBOSSED LEAVES VIDEO

Autumn in New England is usually regarded as the most splendid time of the year with all the trees dressed out in jewel colors of crimson and gold. It peeks in my area around the 12th of October but as I looked out my window today with gray skies dripping in wet I notice that a lot of the trees are bare of leaves and those remaining are green. I think the summer weather caused the leaves to be less than spectacular this year. So I grabbed my inks and maple leaves and created a card for the occassion.
I made these leaves by sandwiching a piece of cardstock between the die cut outs and cutting plates. You can too when you take the on line class for DRY EMBOSSING.~ Enjoy!

CHALLENGE for this card is from City Crafter, My Time to Craft and Creative Sketches

Very sophisticated card! I'm sorry I couldn't join you for the tutorial. Mornings aren't good for those of us who work.

Hi Donna,
I came over to your blog from Stampin' Connection to learn more about the beautiful fall housewarming card you posted. The video was very helpful in learning how to deep emboss! Just as I mentioned on Stampin' Connection I'm ready to buy everything I need to recreate this card just as you've made it - I think it's breathtakingly beautiful! Question is, is the die you used to make the maple leaf one that Stampin' Up sells and I'm just completely missing it in the catalog? And what about the maple leaf stamp and sentiment on the card - I feel so silly asking but I've flipped through a few times and don't see them. If you could share which die and sets (maybe page numbers since I'm so dense) so that I can get them I'd really, really appreciate it!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Christine aka The Stampin' Ninja
