TGIF!!!

Oh boy am I glad it is friday .......and I don't even go outside the home to work.

I have been clean out of mojo as you can probably see from this card, I have been playing hookey going to Cape Cod twice this week and again tomorrow! I can't put my finger on it but, I am so done with making cards this week. That has never happened and I hate to say this but, I am not thinking it is going to come back anytime soon.....in fact I can't believe I actually wrote that down!

Anyway, I am taking a break until I feel it......I hope you'll still be here when I return, you have all been such great and loyal blog peekers. I love each and everyone of you, more than you can imagine.

I remember one of my favorite bloggers taking a month off once and I was beside myself, but now I know how she felt.

challenges:
Just Add Ink : Taken with Teal. Melon Manbo. Elegant Eggplant
Paper Pals Arts: Sketch
Cute Card Thursday: No designer paper

I completely understand and hope you enjoy your time off. Enjoy the Cape - I'll be there visiting from Texas this summer and I hope to make it to Cupcake Charlie's. Take care, Donna, we love ya as much as you love us!

I love your blog, and your projects, and check daily to see what you are doing. But, I certainly understand the need for 'me' time, and it's important to have that. So, don't feel guilty; go do what you want and feel the need to do. Enjoy your life :-)

Donna, I know exactly how you feel about taking a break from blogging. I know that I felt guilty when I started back to school this past fall and couldn't blog regularly. I felt that was letting my readers down. But I found out that the on-line stamping community is compassionate and understanding. Sometimes a break is very good for the creative soul! Enjoy your time off and recapture the mojo. I know that I will be eagerly awaiting your return. Your card was lovely, and I know that I speak for the all of the Pals when I say that I am glad that you play @ PPA!

How brave Donna! It is the right decision .... I am sure. You will know when the time is right to return ... and if that means NEVER ... then the world will continue to turn and life will go on! You are not responsible to your blog friends! What you do here is a joy for us ... and we will miss you ... but ultimately it is about doing the right thing for you! Take care, hunny! I will miss you heaps ... but totally understand. BTW ... your card is gorgeous! Hugs xxAxx

Lovely card Donna. We all lose our mojos from time to time and a break is the best way to overcome that. So you just relax and enjoy whatever you do - I look forward to seeing more of your work whenever you feel ready for it.

Completely and totally understand. I have been there done that. It is nice to take a break. I needed that a while back and I feel so much more refreshed and rejuvinated. I was feeling so run down and run down of inspiration I needed a break from everything. It is good to hear that you are doing the same. Get back to other things and then come back to it all when you feel ready. You do such lovely work. I know I am very slack in comments but I totally know where you are coming from and enjoy your little break. I am sure you will be back to inspire us soon.

I understand, I have been feeling a bit that way since coming home from convention. I think I got so overwhelmed by everything I saw that I just didnt know where to begin, and life is busy too! Hope you are feeling better and your mojo comes back soon! The good thing about craft rooms is that they dont go anywhere, they are right there waiting for you when inspiration strikes (usually at 1am), take care
