ButternutSage sounds like something fall.....

Here are some samples of the set of
note cards and the framed fall item the girls did in class last night. They also made the cards I showed here last week.
We tried a lot of different embossing techniques and here you can see one of them we tried on the center image of the framed item. A piece of creamy caramel card stock was run through the Big Shot and then distressed using SU gold ink pad and stampin' pastels. The leaves were embossed in gold embossing powder on Very Vanilla card stock and then rubbed with a dauber and stampin pastels as well. To make the note card we used the texturz plates and a simple gold embossed image, leaving the inside layered with a piece of clean white card stock for a handwritten image. Enjoy!~Donna

Wonderful, all the techniques and especially the use of the embellishments from nature. I especially like the framed piece. Beautiful work.
